Project Planning & Controls Group

Project Overview

The Task and Finish Group was established to define the problems, blockers and challenges associated with scarce skill professions and make recommendations about how identified problems could be solved and the skills gaps closed.

Problem Statement

Future project planning and controls (PP&C) resource availability has been identified by employers as a potential area of concern across the nuclear sector, posing a risk to mission critical programme delivery across the sector and/or effective monitoring of these. 4 themes consistently emerged and were used to focus intervention planning 1) qualifications/training 2) career pathways 3) attraction and retention 4) career development.
